Beating the Elements

Some of you may know, or remember, that I had a studio for about a year.  The nice thing about having a studio was that I had a place to shoot if weather wasn’t cooperating (basically, the winter months).  However, in that year of renting the studio, I didn’t use it to its full advantage and found that I lean more toward natural light.  So, when the lease was due, there wasnt a renewal.  So, no studio.  So where do we go if it is snowing or raining?  Well…we find our own studio in the amazingness that is Louisville!

Here is sweet Catie.  She is the younger sister of sweet Henry.  Both of which I ADORE!  I just love these kids, this family SO SO SO much! They are the kindest and gentlest…least stressed people to be around and the entire family just lights up the world around them.  I adore them. This was the last session of 2012, in December…no studio.  Raining cats and dogs outside…I think we managed pretty well and beat the elements!
